I have extensive experience as an Assistant Cameraman and as a Digital Imaging Technician. Regarding my work as an AC, I'm extensively familiar with ENG cameras, Digital Cinema cameras, and DSLR's. I treat each camera with the same level of care as a newborn baby by maintaining the body and cleaning the lens on a regular basis. It is my duty to create an efficient workflow wherein batteries are always charged and media is readily available, so that both can be provided immediately. There is no question: I excel at this job. I excel because I view each challenge as an opportunity for creativity. There will always be challenges. So I say smile, embrace them, then conquer them.As a DIT, the most important part of my job is organization. Organization of the file structures, organization of the Master Footage Logs, and organization of the physical media are of utmost importance in this position. I firmly understand this concept at every level. The list of media I'm extensively familiar with includes P2, XDCAM, and many more. Working closely with Post, I've coordinated the naming of file structure systems and the delivery of footage drives. Additionally, I have filled out Master Footage Logs so that Post can promptly find the footage it needs. My workflow also includes providing dailies and screen grabs at a moments notice.
